We had a wonderful three day stay here. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful with an open shower and stone floors. The room was a bit dark and the desk/dresser surface was a bit chipped. But aside from hhese two negatives, this was a very comfortable stay. Our dog was comfortable as well and we appreciated the pet friendly vibe. We’d definitely stay again!

I stayed at the hotel in mid December 2025, definitely the off-season for Traverse City. Although the Google Maps directions were slightly confusing, I found the hotel easily enough, unloaded and checked in. (Note that parking is extra and ONLY valet parking is available.) The rooms are GORGEOUS and spacious with lovely decorations. I took several photos and friends raved about the look. Everyone in the hotel was warm and welcoming, which isn't always the case for me. (As a very tall transgender woman I sometimes get double takes or blank stares - instead at Hotel Indigo I got warm smiles and friendly faces.) I did not eat at the hotel restaurants, but it's an easy walk to the main drag in the downtown area (even in the cold December weather!) with lots of pubs and restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend the hotel.

Very nice hotel. Was nice to stay in an updated IHG hotel than another dated Holiday Inn. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet parking is the only parking option but there is so much to do in that downtown area that you can walk to. If you do need to drive, you don't wait long for your vehicle. They are on top of it. There is a bar in the hotel which was nice. There is no free breakfast but the food was worth paying for.

Hotel Indigo saved our family vacation after a very disappointing and disgusting experience at another hotel. Due to the conditions at the other hotel, we had to scramble to find a new place to stay. From the moment we arrived at Hotel Indigo, the staff were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. We had inquired about booking a room for the remainder of our stay, but at that time, the hotel was completely booked. The front desk staff informed us that cancellations sometimes happen and encouraged us to check back in the morning to see if we could extend our stay. With the stressful experience we had, I couldn’t sleep much that night. By luck, there was a cancellation around 5 a.m. I saw there was availability, and the hotel was able to extend our stay for the remainder of our trip. We assumed we were switching rooms, which we were completely fine with given our situation, but the gentleman at the front desk went above and beyond to keep us in the same room—something we greatly appreciated. The valets deserve special recognition, Conner, Gunner, and the rest of the staff, were wonderful every time we interacted with them. They were quick, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Always greeting us with a smile and pleasant conversation while getting or dropping off our vehicle. Their service made a big difference in helping us feel welcomed and cared for during our trip. The hotel itself was very clean, modern, and well-maintained. Our room had a wonderful view of the bay and provided a good location for anything we needed. We especially enjoyed sunsets up on the rooftop restaurant—the food and drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was great. After such a rough start to our trip, Hotel Indigo and it’s amazing staff truly turned things around for us. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Parking: they only have valet. It was not obvious when we booked. Just a heads up! We used it, it was a great service. You can tip the valets via various apps (venmo, Cash app, etc). Wonderful hotel! The room was delightful. King sized bed with 4 great pillows. Good bed side lights. Great black out curtains. The heat/ac worked well. Highlights: the shower! I loved how big it was and how there was no curtain or door - you just walk right in. I loved the rock-esque floor. Water temperature was phenomenal (it gets hot, be careful!). I appreciated how many hooks there were in the bathroom - silly, I know - but I've been to many hotels lately where there is no place to hang your towel! The fitness center! This was the best fitness center I've ever seen at a hotel - 3 treadmills that ALL work and didn't have a weird time limit, 2 stationary bikes, 2 elliptical machines, 2 weight benches, and dumbbells. There is a water refilling station, cups, and towels. Great location - you can walk to lots of great restaurants, stores, and the waterfront.

Best hotel in town. Location A+. Walk to everything and minutes to wineries of Old Mission. Will really got us situated and settled in. He went above and beyond more than once. Thanks Will. Breakfast is really good at the restaurant and I'd ask for Katie. She is a great server. We had a really clean room and well appointed. Awesome hotel for awesome area. Five stars!
